This event is generated when the dcerpc2 preprocessor detects anomalous network traffic.

Some SMB commands, such as Transaction, have a field containing the total amount of data to be transmitted. If this field is zero, the preprocessor will generate this event.

This event can be controlled using the ((dce2)) configuration options.

An attacker would need to supply a specially crafted SMB header that indicates zero bytes of data.
