Detailed Information:
Versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system are vulnerable to a DoS condition when processing malformed IGMPv3 messages. An unauthenticated attacker may be able to take advantage of this vulnerability to cause the DoS to occur.

The error occurs when the operating system attempts to process IGMPv3 messages that contain no data or when certain header fields indicate zero data length.
