This event is generated when an attempt is made to execute system commands via a vulnerability in HP-UX lpd.

The line print daemon (lpd) on certain HP-UX systems fails to correctly handle shell metacharacters in a print request. A remote attacker may be able to execute commands on the system by using these characters.
