KNETLoad NG

This file should only be read as a fast description. The online
KNetLoad handbook contains more detailed information.

This is a network throughput meter for Kicker (the KDE Panel).
It will show the traffic on a network device with two diagrams, one for
outgoing and one for incoming data.

KNetLoad works on Linux systems (using /proc for 2.4 and previous series,
and new /sys on 2.5 and next), on *BSD systems and Solaris. Under Linux
it also auto-load the network devices present.

Since version 3, KNetLoad is now a true full-integrated Kicker applet, no more
the old standalone application which resides on the system tray. This change
allow you to have bigger, more readable graphs, and also allow you to add more
than one interface monitored at a time.

Selecting "Configure KNetLoad Applet" from the applet's menu, you can then
configure (globally) the style of the graphs, and then, customizable for the
single interfaces, the colors of the graphs, the speed of the interface, and
the name (if local) or the server, the community and the server (if monitoring
a remote interface via SNMP).

Left click on a graph to bring up a small information box which will
show the exact input and output speeds in text form, and the total amount
of outgoing and incoming data in the selected interface.
