Q.: I'm trying to install this icon set, but when I untar
the files, and go to KDE Control Center/Look&Feel/icons,
select the theme file, and then hit "install new theme" it
doesn't show up on the list.

A.: YOU MUST NOT UNZIP NOR UNTAR THE PACKAGE! Just select
the untouched .tar.gz file you have downloaded.

Q.: I really want to install this, but when I tried to add
it, it said that it contained no theme file.

A.: This is an icon theme only, you have to install it
under "Icons", NOT as a "Theme". (Themes have a themes
recource file, icons use an index file which is present in
this package.)

Q.: Where is the realplayer/photoshop icon? Are there old
monochrome icons still available?

A.: You can find them in the Icon Add-On. It can be found
at http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=2633

Q.: Where can I get Aqua Fusion window decorations,
wallpapers, splash screens and additional stuff?

A.: Window decorations and styles are not included in this
package. It's an icon theme only. You can find offical
wallpapers and splash screens at

http://www.kde-look.org/usermanager/search.php?username=AquaFusion

A nice color scheme for Aqua Fusion is provided by Jason
Joerges at

Styles that are perfect for use with the Aqua Fusion Icon
Set are Aronnax' great Acqua themes:

Search for "fusion" on www.kde-look.org for many
contributed usage examples (screenshots).

Q.: The icons look ugly / don't look like glass.

A.: Any glossy appearance depends very much on the material
and light source "used". You may have a very special type
of reflection in mind, but we chose a "material" with some
different qualities. The whole point of the look is to
display a soft yet lightly reflective surface that is
considered less distracting to the user, yet easily
recognizable. If you don't like it, don't use it then. :-)

Q.: Will you release a 128x128 icon set? Large icons are a
must for hi-resolution users.

A.: We won't release the 128x128 icons before the set has
reached 1.0.0 (i.e. is finished for everyday use). If you
REALLY need big icons because of your high screen
resolution try using 64x64 and enable additionally the
"double pixels" option (can be found below the drop down
menu where you set the icon size). You can even create
96x96 icons with this option and size "48". (BTW, even with
higher resolutions there should be no need to use 128x128.
When working with 1600x1200 icons sized 48x48 [!] should be
sufficient. If you have the impression you need larger ones
this could be a sign you are using a higher resolution than
your monitor can handle gracefully)

Q.: I would like to include some of these icons into my
GPL'd project / on my homepage. It seems that the "Design
Science License" permits this.

A.: Yes, you are right. The DSL is GPL compatible, so there
should be no problem with it. You can use a subset of the
icons and still GPL your package, you don't need a separate
licensing for the icon part. Using them for your homepage
design is regular usage anyway.

Q.: I like your icons and would like to include them in my
distribution as an option. May I have permission to include
them in my distribution?

A.: The "Design Science License" grants you this right - as
long as you don't modify them in any way, and include the
documentation that is in the tar.gz files.
