Provides a universal printing mechanism for UNIX-like systems with support for both network and local printers. The component includes the core CUPS print server and a virtual PDF printer (cups-pdf) for generating PDF documents. Supports automatic discovery of network printers, standard command-line interfaces (System V and BSD), as well as centralized printing and integration with other systems.
