Terminus is a set of monospaced bitmap fonts designed for long hours of computer work (8 or more hours per day).
The Terminus font features clear and highly legible characters, supporting 879 glyphs covering about 120 language sets and multiple encodings, including ISO8859-1/2/5/9/13/15/16, KOI8 variants, Paratype PT154/PT254, IBM VGA, vt100, and xterm pseudographics.
Available sizes range from 6x12 to 16x32 pixels, with normal and bold styles (except for 6x12), plus special EGA/VGA bold styles for 8x14 and 8x16 sizes.
Provides Terminus fonts optimized for use in the X Window System.
The font is distributed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL).
