Editions and ComponentsThe ALT Server 11.0 distribution includes two product editions. An edition is a predefined set of components supported within a specific product. Editions can be switched using the alteratorctl console utility for managing modules and the dedicated edition selection module (RU). Edition selection is also available in the graphical interface: ACC → System → About System. Components are integrated sets of packages that deliver specific product functionality. Components are managed using the alt-components application (the new Component Management module in ACC) and the components module (RU) within the alteratorctl utility.
